NLZ (Nefariuz Lyrical Zen)

Since 2011, NLZ has operated under the mentorship and business guidance of John “Mook” Gibbons, CEO of Wu-Tang Management and Protect Ya Neck Records. Through this long-standing relationship, NLZ has participated in music, branding, management, and entertainment ventures while continuing to expand his knowledge of publishing, artist development, catalog ownership, and intellectual property management.

Today, NLZ serves as Co-Founder of Fitted Cap Entertainment LLC along side of Harold Durrett aka MaFisto (whom is also a longtime friend and mentor in the music business),

CEO of BareKnukkle Beatz, and Founder of NLZ Media. His companies focus on music production, artist development, multimedia branding, AI-powered content creation, intellectual property development, and entertainment ventures designed for long-term ownership and legacy building.

Recognized as both an artist and executive, NLZ represents a generation of independent creators who understand that true wealth is built through ownership. His mission is simple: create timeless music, build valuable intellectual property, develop sustainable businesses, and leave behind a legacy that extends far beyond the recording booth.

NLZ, also known as War Machine, is a recording artist, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, and music executive from East Orange, New Jersey—“Illtown”—whose career spans more than two decades of music creation, artist development, and independent business ownership.

An original member of the respected underground hip-hop collective The HeadTuchaz, NLZ built his reputation through lyrical excellence, independent releases, collaborative projects, and a relentless commitment to ownership and creative control. His catalog includes solo releases such as MODUS OPERANDI, The Black Box, N-Destruktable, A Man Apart V1 and the hit single Smash, and numerous collaborative works, appearances, and production credits documented across Apple Music and Discogs.

During the mid-2000s, NLZ was a founding member of Team Napalm, the Dom Pachino-led collective associated with Killarmy and the extended Wu-Tang Killa Bee movement. Team Napalm’s documented lineup included Dom Pachino, Crunch Lo, Chapel, Just tha Barber and NLZ, placing him within a respected branch of the Wu-Tang affiliate network. Team Napalm was recognized as part of the broader Killa Bee family tree through its direct ties to Killarmy founder Dom Pachino.
